A sight you won't soon forget is that of Yosemite's iconic Half Dome at sunset. Here we see Half Dome reflected in the Merced River while bathed in the golden light of Sunset. In this photograph, which was taken a few years ago, all the trees below Half Dome are still healthy. In recent years some of these trees were damaged by wildfires and other issues.
